Need to up your protein? Don’t go bananas, I gotchu with this chocolate protein banana bread 🍌❣️[~70 cal 6g protein]
I have a regular chocolate banana bread that I used to be OBSESSED with but I also wanted to make a protein version. It turned out soooo fudgy and moist (sry) yet fluffy too 🤗 highly recommend trying it straight out of the fridge and/or topping a yogurt/oatmeal bowl with it!
✰ 2 bananas
✰ 1 Whole Egg (sub flax for vegan)
✰ 1 Egg White (sub 1 1/2 Tbsp any vegan milk)
✰ 1/4 cup milk (I used cashew)
✰ 1/3 Cup Granulated Sweetener (I used monkfruit)
✰ 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
✰ 1/3 Cup Dark Cocoa Powder
✰ 1/4 cup Oat Flour
✰ 2 Tbsp Coconut Flour
✰ 1 scoop 1st Phorm Level-1 Protein in German Chocolate Cake
✰ 1/2 tsp Baking Soda
✰ Pinch sea salt (can add more on top)
* Chocolate chips for topping (optional)
1. Set oven to 350 degrees
3. In a large bowl add wet ingredients (mashed banana, sweetener, eggs, milk and vanilla) and whisk together until combined.
4. Add in dry ingredients (cocoa powder, coconut flour, protein, baking soda, and salt).
5. Pour into a loaf pan, and optional chocolate chips and bake 40-50 min or until toothpick comes out clean (be sure not to overbake to keep fudginess).
