I hope you’re churro-kay! If you’re not tho, these churro baked oats will help ya out ❣️ [~300 cal 22g protein] vegan & gf too! Growing up in Miami with a Hispanic fam = lots of churros growing up! So the nostalgia was real for me with this recipe! The texture is pretty great too the outside is fluffy but the middle is like churro batter! Vid skills rough here but swipe to see the goodness 🤗
✰ 1/2 cup (40g) oats blended
✰ 1 scoop (25g) @misfitshealth salted caramel protein (code “LIV20” saves u 💰)
✰ 1/2 cup cashew milk
✰ 1 tbsp sweetener (I used monkfruit)
✰ 1/2-1 tsp cinnamon (based of preference)
✰ 1 tsp baking soda
✰ pinch salt
(1 tbsp chocolate chips for middle)
✰ 1 tbsp sweetener
✰ 1/2-1 tsp cinnamon
1. Preheat air fryer (or oven) to 390 F
3. Combine all ingredients and pour half batter into oven safe bowl.
4. Add chocolate chips to center and pour remaining batter over.
5. Add half of topping.
6. Bake for about 8-10 min (if you want it cakier bake for about 15-20)
7. Add remaining topping.
